Trading Journal #139
Monday, Mar.27, 2023 – Trading Journal
Started the day with some gains on AMZN and AAPL Calls but momentum faded and locked my +40% gains.
After 10am, momentum stalled and I got short Tech buying QQQ Puts that gave me the cash flow for the day. Locked QQQ Puts 312 for 80% gains but they hit more than 300%, so congrats shorts.
After 11:00am, tried the SPY and SCHW bounce up but not much momentum so closed for very small gains:
Market was choppy so decided not to open more positions.
As a famous quote says:
- “”If most traders would learn to sit on their hands 50 percent of the time, they would make a lot more money.” by Bill Lipschutz
