08:38 am: “Futures red to start the day giving back some Monday/Tuesday gains when earnings season starts to get hot.

08:39 am: “Morning focus on NFLX if it can hold the morning gap and extend up OR fades to fill the gap lower. SPY IWM QQQ AAPL MSFT AMZN some names on watch first 5-15min if can go red to green OR fade below yesterday lows

Morning Trades: I started the day with OXY and AMZN calls playing for a red to green move. OXY gave nice cash flow but AMZN stalled and closed small gains. I flipped into QQQ shorts (because of yields) and ride it 3x from where I got most of my gains. I also took some MP META cash flow but it was small.

Loss review: I didn’t let any trade go into loss, because I took my gains and moved into the next trade. During these volatile periods, I’m taking trades and gains, not holding the bag for too long.

Key Takeaways: During volatile periods, when no one has a clue on where the market is going, traders keep flexible with an open mind and just take trades to build up cash flow.

Look Ahead: So far we had a nice action coming from financial reports and also NFLX today, but next week a lot of big tech names are going to report earnings, so I’m not risking much until we hear from those reports to figure out what’s next move
