Trading Journal

08:33am: “Futures flat to start the day with market participants waiting to hear from FED at 2pm and Mr.Powell speech at 2:30pm. Staying open minded and managing risk wisely.

08:34am: “Morning focus on SPY IWM QQQ TLT AAPL VIX for clues going into the FED statement at 2pm and Mr. Powell speech at 2:30pm. Manage risk wisely on very risky and tricky events.

Morning Trades: I started the day fading AMD and NVDA with PUTs for great cash flow and where I got my money. I gave back some money on choppy action on DIS AAPL and trying to fade BA but I cut my risk fast so overall nice action.

Loss review: I gave back some money on choppy action on DIS AAPL and tried to fade BA but I cut my risk fast so overall happy with my risk management.

Key Takeaways: FED days/weeks can be choppy and slow, so reduce risk, take trades and wait after news to have a more clear view on what’s next.

Look Ahead:  I’m waiting for the FED to trigger the next move, so staying in cash and looking for cash flow either up or down.
