Wednesday, May.17, 2023 – Trading Options – Daily Journal

 

9:30am-10:00am: Scalped NFLX Calls right at 9:30am for quick +50% gains. Start building up a big QQQ short position that I ride for +100% gains. I also got back in NFLX Calls for a 2nd ride and locked +100% gains. I chased a bit TSLA Calls for +50% gains and done.

9:30AM – NFLX May 19 $340 Calls from 0.75 to 1.15 for 505$ PnL*
9:31AM – QQQ May 17 $328 Puts from 0.62 to 1.25 for 989$ PnL*
9:36AM – NFLX May 19 $340 Calls from 0.85 to 1.7 for 1006$ PnL*
9:40AM – TSLA May 19 $175 Calls from 0.8 to 1.2 for 505$ PnL*

After 10:00am: I focus on managing my stock portfolio with TSLA NFLX and some more longs.

 

End of Day PnL = +3,005$ gains

 

End of Day emotions:  First 30min where huge with QQQ NFLX trades doubled the money, plus the NFLX re-entry was great for those that missed the first entries, we had a pretty nice 2nd entry for +100% gains, so it was great. It was a great 30min session with 4 trades and 4 big winners. I’m very happy with my risk management and trading plan. Need to keep my focus and repeat the process over and over again!
