Tuesday, May.30, 2023 – Trading Options – Daily Journal

 

9:30am-10:00am: Started day buying IWM Calls for 177.3+ gap fill and locked +35% gains. Also got COIN Calls on 60+ breakout and locked +100% gains. After that I faded AMZN with PUT scalp for +80% gains and QQQ shorts with PUT scalp for +125% gains.

9:30AM – IWM May 30 $177 Calls from 0.75 to 1 for 310$ PnL*
9:31AM – COIN Jun 02 $65 Calls from 0.82 to 1.65 for 982$ PnL*
9:42AM – AMZN Jun 02 $120 Puts from 1.1 to 2 for 800$ PnL*
9:47AM – QQQ May 30 $352 Puts from 1.05 to 2.35 for 1288$ PnL*

 

After 10am: Focused on managing stock portfolio from some nice morning AMD shorts and some other stocks.

 

End of Day PnL = +3,380$ gains

 

End of Day emotions:  Was a great day with 4 trades, with both COIN and QQQ more than double, plus AMZN IWM gave nice cash flow. I’m very happy with 4 trades, 4 winners and done! I’m staying disciplined, respecting my risk management and following my trading plan. Need to keep my focus and repeat the process over and over again!
