Trading Journal

Gains review

– IWM out of the gate scalped short for +60% gains and 15 min later played the bounce with scalp longs for +55%. 

– GOOGL scalped longs on bull flow but not much follow through so closed for very small gains. Also tried the short but stock was flat, so closed breakeven

– QQQ tried to scalp longs, but was very choppy so closed basically flat

 

Losses review: 

– IWM after 10am, tried to scalp some more but no momentum so took some losses. The first 2 trades gave enough cash flow to risk some and was able to save the shorts from 11:30am, otherwise would finish the trade down big money

– GME AMZN AMD was caught on choppy action, so took some losses, but small as I didnt risk to hold the bag for too long

 

Overall a very slow and choppy action, took some losses on the way and was able to save a big IWM short by getting out for small gains, but that was hard as hell.
